To ensure the safety, health and the best possible experience for your pet and our other guests, we require the following:
BEHAVIOR: Your pet must be friendly to both people and other animals. Dogs, cats or other small animals exhibiting signs of aggression or possessiveness are not suitable for a stay with the "Happy Tails Pet Lodge".
FLEA AND TICK CARE: Your dog or cat must be using a flea and tick treatment such as Advantage, Frontline, Nextguard or Seresto collar. We require proof from your veterinarian of the following vaccinations:
VACCINATIONS: All dogs and cats must have up to date vaccinations. Owners of dogs must provide veterinarian proof of • DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvo virus) • Bordetella/kennel cough(current or within 6 mos.) and • Rabies vaccinations, as well as a record of a • Negative fecal exam (current or within 6 mos.). If transporting your pet from out of state it is recommended that owner provide canine influenza. Owners of cats must provide veterinarian proof of • Distemper, • Rabies and • Upper respiratory.
SPAYING/NEUTERING: It is recommended all dogs seven months or older must be spayed or neutered.
HEALTH: Owners must certify that their dog, cat or other small animal is in good health and has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 15 days. Any dogs who have been ill within the last 15 days will require veterinarian certification of restored health prior to admission. Any canine visiting a groomer or other public facility must wait at least 15 days before boarding in our facility to avoid any possible kennel cough or influenza symptoms that may have been contracted.
Pets with preexisting illness or health issues or of 10 years of age and older must be discussed to board with owner. Pets who are sick or elderly are not encouraged to board at our facility. Pets who are at an elderly age that no longer require vaccines from your vet are also not approved to board with us for the safety and well-being of your pet.
DAYS AND HOURS: We are open Sunday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A staff member is available 24 hours a day to be sure your pet is as comfortable as can be. We prefer to assist drop off and pick up times between 7:00-8:30 a.m. or between 5:00-6:00 p.m.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are necessary and we require that you cancel 48 hours in advance to be courteous, otherwise we require to collect your reservation payment :) Any reservations cut short during your dogs stay due to the will of the customer will still be charged the full amount.
FEES
Canines: $35 per Dog Daycare (up to 8 hrs.); $40 for one Overnight stay up to 12 and $45 up 24 hrs stay; $35 per Overnight (up to 24 hrs.) if more than 1 night stay - no extra fees for size, for indoor or outdoor playtime, walks. $2 per day for administering medications. Discounts are offered periodically, and for multiple pets (more than 2). Please provide your own feed and leash.
Felines: $20 per Day and Overnight - (Provide own feed and transport cage)-we are no longer offering Feline service, we apologize.
Misc. Small Animals: $15 per Day and Overnight - (Provide feed and cage)-we are no long offering small animal service, we apologize.
MOBILE GROOMER:
Daycare and Grooming Package (Daycare: $35 and Grooming fees may vary)
Drop your dog off on your way to work while he/she has a day of Grooming, Rest and Play!
Overnight Lodging and Grooming Package (Grooming fees may vary; Lodging is $35/day w/in 8 hrs) Combine the two while you are on vacation and your furry friend will feel as refreshed as you do!
Grooming Fees may vary depending on dog size & cut.
